Food Remedies
Main remedy
Brahmi / Saraswatarishta family: churna 3–6 g twice daily with warm milk (anupana). Jatamansi and tagara steady the nerves; avoid caffeine and late nights.
1 tsp warm cow ghee, taken on an empty stomach or stirred into warm milk at night, carries the other herbs deeper into the tissues.
Traditional
दूध · Milk
A cup of warm cow milk at bedtime, boiled and taken slowly — never with salt or sour food in the same hour.
Traditional
आँवला · Amla
One fresh amla, or 1 tsp amla powder in cool water, once daily — best in the morning, never with milk.
Traditional
ब्राह्मी चाय · Brahmi tea
1 tsp brahmi leaves steeped — not boiled — in a cup of hot water, in the evening. A medhya rasayana: it steadies over weeks rather than calming on the spot.
Traditional
कैमोमाइल चाय · Chamomile tea
Chamomile in the evening — it takes the edge off without dulling the day. Anxiety that stops you working needs a doctor, not a tea.
