Main remedy
Shirashoolyadi / Godanti type remedies 1–2 g twice daily with warm water (anupana). Nasya with 2 drops warm ghee in each nostril at dawn relieves vata-type headache.
1 tsp warm cow ghee, taken on an empty stomach or stirred into warm milk at night, carries the other herbs deeper into the tissues.

A thin slice of fresh adrak chewed before meals, or ½ tsp dried sonth in warm water twice a day.

A cup of mint tea, and breathe the steam while it cools — menthol eases a tension headache and a sinus one both. A headache with vomiting or blurred sight is not this.
