Pomegranate: whatever the fever, eating pomegranate is beneficial. It also helps a fever lasting over seven days and in appendicitis. Mix cinnamon, black pepper and honey in boiling water — the best Ayurvedic cure for fever. Alternatively, take ginger extracts several times daily. Cumin seed is a proved antiseptic effective for fever.

दालचीनी · Cinnamon
¼–½ tsp dalchini powder in warm water or milk once daily; more than that is heating.

CautionNot in large daily amounts over a long period — ordinary cassia cinnamon contains coumarin, which can affect the liver. If you take diabetes medicine, keep checking your sugar.
अदरक · Ginger
A thin slice of fresh adrak chewed before meals, or ½ tsp dried sonth in warm water twice a day.

शहद · Honey
A teaspoon of raw honey, taken as is or in water that is warm but never hot — heat destroys its value.

Two or three crushed peppercorns with honey, or a pinch of powder added to whatever else you are taking.
